Invites all Ladies to our February Caring Luncheon

Deb Pedrick of Urbandale, a Des Moines business woman, will speak about hope from shattered dreams in "Dreams Lost-Dreams Found" Kathy Stambaugh of Orient an experience Care Giaver will share tips for loving Care Giving. Free Blood Pressure Clinic-Prescott
Alegent Health At Home/Family Home Care will hold a free Blood Pressure Clinic Friday February 10th from 9 to 10am at the City Hall in Prescott. The clinic is open to the public and area residents are encouraged to attend. Donations appreciated.

Creston United Methodist Church
The Creston United Methodist Church will have a dinner on Sunday February 19th from 11:30 to 1:00. Hosted by the Creston United Methodist Women.
At the church, 400 North Elm-serving Roast beef or roast pork, mashed potatoes, corn, beans, rolls a variety of salads and desserts. Beverages included.
Cost for adults: $7, children 5-11 $4 and free for kids under 5.
This dinner is open to the public!

GiGi's Playhouse
GiGi's Playhouse is a National Down syndrome Awareness Center that provides FREE services to families with a loved one who has Down syndrome. Not only are we a support group we provide Educational & Therapeutic Services including Literacy, Math, Handwriting, Physical & Occupational Therapies and Speech Opportunities for all ages of persons with Down syndrome.
GiGi's Playhouse-Des Moines-Down syndrome Awareness Center. Our 2nd Annual GiGi's Playhouse
International 'i have a voice' Gala will be held on Sat, Feb 25 from 6-11pm at the
downtown Des Moines Marriott. Tickets are $75 and include dinner, cocktails, programming, a silent &
live auction along with entertainment by the band Gimikk! This will be an evening to raise awareness
for Down syndrome as well as funds to continue our FREE programming to all families and
persons with Down syndrome.

Central Decatur Blood Drive
The Central Decatur Student Council will be sponsoring a Blood Drive on Wednesday March 14th from 4-6pm during conferences at the High School
You can sign up for an appointment by calling the Life Serve Blood Center at 1-800-287-4903 or by going to www.lifeservebloodcenter.org. Search for the Central Decatur Blood Drive and sign up. If you have never signed up online before, you will have to register but it's easy and it will walk you through it.
