The last one is of the cars that were abandoned during the storm. The white truck was passing through the two... apparently he ignored the road blocks... I hope these pictures have helped. These pictures are from my drive home from work on 6-4-08 about 6:40 approx 5 miles west on Highway 34 and the hail from last night. We live in Creston-Wendy Seddon ............................................................................................................................................ Hurley Creek area ............................................................................................................................................ 1st picture was taken during the 2nd part of the storm. I thought I had seen a funnel dipping down between the barn and the trees. I didn’t know that the 2nd photo I would be taken would be that same barn destroyed during the 3rd round of storms! On the right hand side of the barn is where our kids 4-H animals were being kept. Though the roof was totally gone the stalls remained intake and all animals were safe and we were able to move them. .............................................................................................................................................. This set is from the Miller Family-About 3 miles southwest of Creston, about 2 miles west of the airport - ON 205th STREET which is the exact location that was circled on the channel 8 news last night. Needless to say we decided to leave after storm #1 and not see if we would live through storms #2 and #3. The top two pics are facing directly south, parallel to High and Dry road. The last two pics are facing straight West. We can usually see Hwy 34 from this view. We did see emergency lights heading West before we left for town. After checking our place out today there isn't much damage. A few trees but nothing serious.
