From the Veteran's Day 2010 Page:
My name is Bill Boswell, I was the morning guy at KSIB radio in the late 70's. I am enclosing a picture of myself and my wife Tammy at a recent formal dining out. And another of me, speaking at a recent Change of Command Ceremony,
I am a full time Sergeant First Class with the Arkansas National Guard, and recently celebrated my 30th year in uniform.
I was born and raised in Corning. My folks were Albert and Toots Boswell, both have passed away, but many of my relatives are still in the Corning and Mt Etna Iowa area.
Thanks KSIB for honoring all that have worn the uniform in defense of this great country.

"A Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to, and including, their life. That is beyond honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact."

Kevin Clark enlisted in the Iowa Army National Guard in January 2003. He was deployed to Afghanistan in February 2004 and was there for a year. He had gotten back from deployment in June 2005 and had decided to start a family. He had decided that his good friend Rebecca Sterling was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. They dated for a year when he had proposed to her and of course she said yes. They were married on June 30, 2007 and now live in Creston, Iowa and have bought their first home in December 2007.
